Sarah and Jonah
This is Jonah. With his big sister/hero, Sarah. Jonah loves Sarah. And tells her so very often, very vocally, and very much to tick me off! Sarah will come up to him, hug him, and say “I love you Jonah”. And he will respond with a very verbal, very audible, “I love you too”. Now, if I perchance try to hug and kiss Jonah and tell him that I love him…I receive at best a half-hearted hug and a huge, sloppy wet kiss, and a shove that says “Stop touching me I’m too busy right now.”
Sarah and Jonah love to rub it in too. They do it on purpose, I know they do. And by the way, Jonah is NOT my favorite child. I don’t play favorites, you know. But don’t tell HIM that, ‘kay?
Jonah is part of the glue that holds this family together. Even through the bad times, when he is sick, hospitalized hundreds of miles away from home….he is the constant force that keeps us going everyday. And he couldn’t have chosen a better hero than Sarah.
